Education Assistant - Special needs - years 5-8

Tranby College is seeking an innovative, experienced, and passionate Education Assistant (Special Needs) – Years 5 to 8 who demonstrates an exceptional ability to meet the educational needs of students and fosters positive and productive relationships with staff across the College to join our community. This is initially a contracted position until the conclusion of Term 4 2023, with the possibility of it becoming ongoing, commencing immediately. The successful candidate will work across our Junior and Senior Schools under the direction of the Co-ordinator of Learning Diversity (K – 12) in conjunction with the Heads of Junior and Senior Schools.

Defence Mentor

Tranby College is currently seeking a Defence Mentor to provide information, support and develop a range of activities for the students of Australian Defence Force families to ease the impact of mobility and service related parental absence. This is a part-time position (0.4 FTE) for term time only, initially until the end of Term 2 2023 with the possibility of extension.

Casual Diploma Qualified and Certificate III Educators

We are currently seeking Diploma Qualified and Certificate III Educators to join us on a casual basis, for both our Long Day Care and Out of School Care services. Applicants will need to be available to work shifts from Monday to Friday between the hours of 6:30am – 6:00pm.

We are currently seeking expressions of interest for teachers to be added to our casual pool for relief work in both the Junior School and Senior School at Tranby College.

We are looking for a passionate Science and Mathematics Teacher to fill a full-time, fixed term position in Term 2, 2023 (with the possibility of extension). You will be committed to inspiring young people through engaging and innovative teaching and align with the outlook of one of Australia’s leading progressive schools with a focus on innovation, personalised learning and experiential education. An ability to teach Biology is preferred but not essential!
