SENIOR SCHOOL LIBRARY TECHNICIAN

Tranby College seeks an innovative, experienced, and passionate Senior School Library Technician who demonstrates an exceptional ability to meet the educational needs of students (Years 7 – 12) and fosters positive and productive relationships with staff across the College to join our community. This is a fixed-term, part-time position of 10 hours per week with working days to be negotiated with the successful candidate but ideally spread over two to three days (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons preferred) until 14th December 2022.

GARDENER AND MAINTENANCE PERSON

Tranby College is currently looking for a Gardener and Maintenance Person to join us on a full-time basis. This position is responsible for assisting the grounds and maintenance team in the upkeep and maintenance of all College grounds and facilities. This includes (but is not limited to):

  • Ensuring the gardens and grounds are consistently maintained to a high standard including fertilising, raking/leaf blowing, weed control, watering, planting, hedging/pruning, mulching, irrigation checks and rubbish removal;
  • Preparing and maintaining garden beds, sporting grounds and playgrounds across the College;
  • Ensuring equipment and machinery are used safely;
  • Performing routine and unplanned maintenance as required.

DIRECTOR OF OUTDOOR EDUCATION

The Director of Outdoor Education will oversee all curriculum-based learning of Outdoor Education in the Senior School and practical components off campus. Furthermore, the role has oversight of the Experiential Learning Program (ELP) for Years 4-12. In collaboration with the Heads of School and the Director of Learning and Innovation, the Director of Outdoor Education will design, facilitate, and review all components of the subject with a longitudinal vision in line with the College Strategic Plan.
