Fees & Business Arrangements

Tuition Fees

Tuition Fees are set annually by the College Board who consider the level of government funding that is available, the operating costs of the College and the need to provide for capital development. They are also mindful of the aim of keeping the College as accessible as possible. You can download a PDF of our current fees and business arrangement below:

SIBLING DISCOUNTS

The following discounts apply when siblings attend Tranby College at the same time:

1) 15% of the Tuition Fee only for second student (by age).
2) 20% of Tuition Fee only for the third student (by age).
3) 30% of Tuition Fee only for the fourth and subsequent students (by age).

Application Fee

A non-refundable Application Fee of $100 per child is payable when submitting an Application Form for Kindy to Year 12. This fee covers the administration cost of processing the application and does not guarantee an interview or a place at Tranby College. If your child is a returning student, this fee does not need to be paid again.

Enrolment Fee

Payable to the Tranby College Foundation (which supports scholarships and infrastructure projects), an Enrolment Fee of $750 (capped at $1,250 per family) is required to confirm and secure your child’s place at the College. If your child is a returning student, this fee does not need to be paid again. There is no Enrolment Fee for Childcare.

Other Costs

Subject to which year your child is entering, a number of additional levies and costs will apply. These cover things such as subject levies, IT levies and camps. Details of these levies can be found in our Fees and Business Arrangements document, and all costs will be itemised in the fee invoice which is sent before the start of Term 1.

Payment of Fees

Families will receive one invoice before the start of first term detailing fees due for the year. The College understands the financial circumstances of families varies and so flexibility is offered as to how payment is made. Options include annual, termly, monthly and fortnightly payments, and payments can be made online, via BPAY, direct debit from your credit card or bank. BPAY details can be found on your fee statement.

Tranby College has partnered with Edstart (a fee payment service) to help families manage school fee payments. With Edstart, College fees can be spread evenly over the course of the year with options to pay weekly, fortnightly or monthly. There is also the option to pay termly or annually. There is no charge to families for this service and you can adjust your payments at any time.

Setting-up your Edstart account is easy, you just need to provide your contact and bank details, and nominate your preferred payment cycle. Edstart will then contact you to confirm the information and finalise your account set-up. Then, when your Fee Statement is ready, the College will send you a copy and the details will be uploaded to your Edstart account for payments to start.
