13 STUDENTS BEGIN CURTIN UNIVERSITY STUDIES AT SCHOOL
As part of our strong and ongoing relationship with Curtin University Tranby College has been invited to participate in their Innovative Schools Scholars Program (ISSP).
The program engages students in tertiary learning across a range of units and, subject to satisfactory completion, provides a Credit for Recognised Learning (CRL) upon enrolling into a relevant Curtin degree after Senior School. Those who participate incur no costs and are treated as university students. (The academic staff will not know they are school-aged students and they will complete all the required assessments and examinations.)
Entry into the program is extremely competitive with students needing to achieve a B-grade or higher average (those in Human Structure and Function needed an A-grade average), along with a good attendance record and we are thrilled to share the news that 13 of our students across Years 10 and 11 have been accepted.
CONGRATULATIONS
