Appointment of new Tranby Principal

Emily Goforth

We are delighted to announce that Emily Goforth has been appointed as the next Principal of Tranby.

Emily has been in the Acting Principal role since May 2023. Prior to this, Emily was the Deputy Principal at Tranby College where she led many important strategic and cultural initiatives.  

She has achieved a Graduate Diploma of Education, a Bachelor of Arts (Honours in Psychology) and a Masters of Educational Leadership. Her diverse experience as an educator has been garnered through a variety of teaching roles at Guildford Grammar School and Tranby College.

This reflects Emily’s commitment to enhancing the wellbeing and academic educational experience for students while developing active, vibrant and aligned communities.

With a strong strategic focus and impressive interpersonal skills, Emily has a humble and inclusive leadership style. She has a demonstrated ability to build authentic relationships with parents, guardians, students, staff and communities, and her values and beliefs closely align with those of Tranby.
