What a great way to celebrate 25 years!
On Saturday 10th September, Tranby staff, students, families and friends, both past and present, gathered to enjoy an afternoon of entertainment and fun at our special 25th Anniversary Fair. Crowds were entertained by the impressive talents of students and staff, along with special performances by alumni students and former staff. Over the course of the afternoon, entertainment included:
- Songs from Annie, sung by the Junior School Choir.
- A special Hip Hop performance by our Year 8 Dance students.
- A preview of songs from our upcoming Junior School Production, Madagascar – A Musical Adventure JR.
- Solo guitar and drum performances by students past and present.
- Vocal performances by our Senior School Ensemble.
- The College Staff Choir’s rendition of Tina Turner’s Proud Mary and S-Club Seven’s Reach for the Stars.
- Performances by former and current staff.
- Plus more!
In complement to the great entertainment, students and families enjoyed (amongst other things):
- Engaging with the animals at Old Macdonald’s Animal Farm.
- Trying their luck at Inflatable Ten Pin Bowling and Footy.
- A look back in time at our Memory Lane exhibition.
- Making it to the top of the Climbing Wall.
- The ‘Arty Party’ display of artworks from our Junior School.
- Face painting and hair braiding.
- Delicious food and drinks.
- Impressive art pieces from our Senior School Art Students.
- Looking in the local Baldivis Volunteer Fire & Emergency Services Truck.
- Market stalls of all kinds.
By far, one of the most popular attractions at the Fair was the sale of raffle tickets. Thanks to some very generous donations by Junior School families and local community businesses and members, a total of 16 prizes were up for grabs along with two jars of goodies in the game of ‘Guess the number of Lollies’. Drawn at the event details of the prizewinners can be found below.
