WHAT EXCITMENT FOR OUR LITTLEST STUDENTS!
On Friday 19th August, the Kwinana South Volunteer Bushfire Brigade made a visit to Tranby College Childcare. Under the watchful eye of Captain Edwin Mouna and his crew, Andy Briggs and Dave Mouna, our little students had a lesson of a very different kind: how to become a firefighter!
There was much excitement amongst students and staff as the crew provided a display of flashing lights and hoses in action. Then, each student had the opportunity to turn a hose on, and adjust the water’s spray (under careful supervision, of course!). For one student, Isla, this was a particularly special occasion because her daddy, Andy Briggs is actually part of the crew!
