Enrolments and Contacts
Tranby College does not place any restrictions on who they will consider for enrolment. The first step is to register your interest by completing a straight forward Registration Form; no money or detailed documentation is needed at this stage. Many families take advantage of Open Days to visit the school, or they ring the school and arrange a tour at a time that is convenient for them.
When places are available we offer positions according to the date on which the application for enrolment was registered with us, with the only exception being preference for siblings and children of members of staff. It is becoming increasingly common for families to register their children a number of years before they are due to start, especially in the major intake years of Kindergarten and Years 7 and 8.
Early in the year before the student is due to start we move into the formal enrolment process. Parents are asked to complete a detailed enrolment form and to supply documentation including birth certificate, immunisation record and the latest school reports (if applicable). An interview is then arranged with the relevant Head of School and, usually, the Principal. The interview is designed to help families to get a better sense of Tranby and for us to start to get to know the potential student. In almost every instance a position is offered at that time and parents have two weeks to accept by paying the non-refundable Enrolment Fee of $400.
Enrolment information and registration forms can be obtained by ringing the College on 9524 2424, or by emailing tranby@tranby.wa.edu.au
