The Young Endeavour Youth Scheme is now accepting applications for Australian youth to join voyages in the sail training ship Young Endeavour between July and December 2012. Are you 16 to 23 years old? If so please see attached for more details and the application form.

Dear Parents

I am writing to you to further explain what occurred yesterday, Thursday 22nd March, 2012. Please see attached for the full letter. A hard copy of the letter is going home today with ALL students.

Tranby College have been crowned the ACC 'E' Div Interschool Swimming Champions on Friday 16 March 2012!

A close battle was fought all day with Irene McCormack (with the top team changing several times) but Tranby came out tops at the end by a mere 2 points to earn the right to progress to 'D' Div next year.

All students who participated in the Carnival, especially our unsung heroes, the Reserves (of whom most did not even swim but were there in force), are congratulated for contributing to this epic win - you have done your absolute best and we are very proud of you!

Thanks to the parents and staff of the College who supported the team in so many ways - this was indeed a team effort.

Congratulations Budjar - Winners of 2012 Interhouse Swimming Carnival

The Middle & Senior School Interhouse Swimming Carnival was held on Friday 10th February with great enthusiasm, participation, sportsmanship and spirit displayed from all competitors.

Budjar were the winners with 3462 points, Bilu second with 3422 points, Karla third with 3333 points and Marra fourth with 3064 points.

Interschool Swimming Training

Some important notices about Interschool Swimming Training :

Due to the Student Free Day this Friday 2/3/12, swimming training at Aqua Jetty has been CANCELLED.

There will be NO TRAINING on Monday 5/3/12 as it is a Public Holiday.

Training will resume with the compulsory Year 7-9 Swimming Training morning on Wed 7/3/12 from 7am to 10am at Aqua Jetty.

Our first swim meet is the SWISSA Swimming Carnival which is being held on Friday 9/3/12 at the Southwest Sports Centre in Bunbury. Students are to meet at the T & E Area for the traditional Big Breakfast at 7am sharp, with a gold coin donation.
